
Both bikes have 150mm of rear travel and a 160mm fork. The numbers on a spec sheet look nearly identical, but they ride differently.
The Heckler SL uses Santa Cruz’s VPP suspension, which feels plusher and more stable at speed, with more of a downhill character for a lightweight bike. It holds traction well on loose, off-camber terrain and jumps confidently, though it asks a bit more of your fitness on sustained climbs given the battery size relative to its power output.
The Turbo Levo SL feels more nimble and playful by comparison. It’s easier to flick through tight corners and pop off natural features. Climbing is easier too, thanks to smooth power delivery, making it easier to maintain traction on technical sections and loose surfaces.
